完美身材！法兰克福前锋：其实我小的时候又胖又小

法兰克福前锋帕先西亚拥有让人羡慕的完美身材，不过帕先西亚小的时候却不是这样，他表示自己小的时候又胖又小。

帕先西亚：“我一直尝试着注意我的身体，在平时的训练之后我还会去健身房练习。不过当我还是个孩子的时候我可真是又胖又小，直到17岁的时候我才长开了，变得强壮。”

KUALA LUMPUR: Mohammed “Jordan Boy” Mahmoud thrives whenever an opportunity emerges.

The Kuala Lumpur-based striker is eager to return to the Circle to test his abilities once again, barely a month after sealing his 32nd career win in Kuala Lumpur.

“I think I’m ready to have a get in the ring again,” Mohammed said with a smile. “As an athlete, you have to be ready at any given time, providing you do not encounter any injuries or other issues.”

His desire to compete against anyone regardless of the situation has made him one of the rising stars from Malaysia at The Home of Martial Arts.

With five appearances between December and July, the Sampuri Muay Thai Gym star has proven that he can test his skills regularly on the international stage.

Mohammed’s latest victory saw him register a hard-fought decision win against fellow countryman Saiful “The Vampire” Merican at ONE: MASTERS OF DESTINY on 12 July.

It was no easy win given Saiful’s experience and proficiency in “the art of eight limbs.”

“My family and fans know I love fighting, and I would never turn an offer down,” 23-year-old Mohammed said.

“I’m trying to improve all my shortcomings in every fight. I believe training outside my regular gym has also given me some much-needed abilities.

He added, “I’m still young, and I have a lot to learn in Muay Thai and my daily life.”

Not many martial artists his age have achieved similar success, and the Kedah native revealed that this is the sole reason why he never turns down an opportunity.

According to the Muay Thai athlete, younger stars should never be afraid to test themselves against anyone. After all, the more you compete, the better you become.

“Firstly, I wouldn’t like to compare myself against other countries such as Thailand. Some of these guys started before they even became teenagers. I started way later than some of these guys, but I never quit,” he revealed.

“I believe that’s the key in Malaysia. Because martial arts or Muay Thai is still growing, and if you turn down a chance, you might not receive it again.”

Nedved Beri Konfirmasi Dybala Diburu Manchester United

TURIN – Wakil Presiden Juventus, Pavel Nedved, mengonfirmasi sang pemain yakni Paulo Dybala diburu Manchester United. Bahkan dalam pengakuan Nedved, tak hanya Man United yang mengincar Dybala, namun juga beberapa klub top Eropa.

La Joya –julukan Dybala– menjadi buruan sejumlah klub-klub Eropa setelah tak masuk rencana pelatih anyar Juventus, Maurizio Sarri. Dalam pola 4-3-3 racikan Sarri, tidak ada posisi yang cocok diperankan pesepakbola asal Argentina tersebut.

Karena itu, Man United mencoba mengambil keuntungan. Menurut salah satu jurnalis ternama asal Irlandia yakni Kevin Palmer, Man United menawarkan sang penyerang Romelu Lukaku kepada Juventus untuk mendapatkan Dybala.

Masih menurut Palmer, andai kondisi itu terjadi, Man United yang diuntungkan. Sebab, Man United saat ini membutuhkan tenaga tambahan di posisi gelandang serang, mengingat mereka hanya memiliki Juan Mata untuk mentas di posisi tersebut.

Selain Man United, ada Tottenham Hotspur yang meminati Dybala. Bahkan kabarnya, The Lilywhites –julukan Tottenham– berani mengeluarkan 90 juta pounds atau sekira Rp1,53 triliun untuk membawa Dybala. Karena itu, manajemen Juventus mesti cermat sebelum mengambil keputusan perihal masa depan Dybala.

Everton table £55m + 2 player offer for Wilfried Zaha

As per a report from Sky Sports News, Everton have tabled an improved cash-plus-player offer for Wilfried Zaha.

The story surrounding the future of Eagles’ star man Zaha has proven one of the talking points of the summer transfer window so far.

On the back of a standout campaign last time out, during which he racked up 10 goals and 10 assists in the Premier League, reports mounted over the last month that Palace’s London rivals Arsenal had set their sights firmly on Zaha.

The Gunners’ subsequent proposals, however, fell well short of the Ivorian’s valuation.

Palace’s stout stance eventually saw Arsenal turn their attentions elsewhere, with the capital giants now widely-reported to be on the verge of securing the signature of Lille wide-man Nicolas Pepe.

Everton table fresh bid

As such, this has since opened the door for any and all other suitors of Zaha to step forward.

The club to have done so with the most intent to this point, meanwhile, have been Everton.

The Toffees are thought to be on the lookout for reinforcements out wide, on the back of Ademola Lookman’s departure for RB Leipzig.

And Marco Silva and co. evidently feel as though Zaha is the kind of player who could push the club to the next level in their hopes of cracking the long-established Premier League top-6 pecking order.

The Merseysiders’ first bid for the Palace star, though, worth a rumoured £52 million, was quickly shut down by the Selhurst hierarchy.

However, as per the aforementioned update from Sky Sports News this evening, Everton are evidently not ready to give up in their pursuit of Zaha without a fight.

The Toffees are said to have tabled an improved offer, worth £55 million, along with both Cenk Tosun and James McCarthy, for the 26-year-old:

加拉塔萨雷主席：球队正在努力签下法尔考

根据佩杜拉官网的报道，加拉塔萨雷即将与签下法尔考。近日，加拉塔萨雷主席穆斯塔法-森吉兹在接受媒体采访时确认了这一消息，他表示俱乐部将为签下法尔考而努力。

森吉兹在接收采访时表示：“我们已经出售了6名球员。球队刚刚签下了卢因达马。我们正在争取引进法尔考，我们知道这笔交易还有很多程序要履行。我们俱乐部经过协商，已经同意了对方开出的一些条件。”

法尔考同摩纳哥俱乐部的合同将在2020年到期。2013年，法尔考加盟摩纳哥。后来他曾经被租借至曼联和切尔西。2017年，他曾经跟随摩纳哥拿到了法甲冠军。上赛季，法尔考为摩纳哥出场33次，打进15球，助攻两次。

有消息称，摩纳哥计划引进皇马前锋迪亚兹以填补法尔考可能离队所留下的空缺。

UFC 240: Cris Cyborg hadiahkan kekalahan pertama Felicia Spencer

ACARA UFC 240 yang berlangsung di Alberta, Kanada pada Ahad menyaksikan kekalahan pertama buat petarung tuan rumah, Felicia Spencer.

Dalam aksi ‘co-main’ event featherweight wanita itu, Spencer dikalahkan oleh petarung berpengalaman dari Brazil, Cris Cyborg menerusi keputusan sebulat suara.

Meskipun hanya berpengalaman bertarung sebanyak tujuh pertarungan berbanding Cyborg yang telah bertarung sebanyak 23 kali, Spencer ternyata bukan lawan yang mudah.

Pada pusingan pertama, Spencer diasak oleh Cyborg yang telah melepaskan tendangan padu ke bahagian kepalanya.

Bagaimanapun, Spencer berjaya mara ke hadapan dan menyiku dahi Cyborg hingga terkoyak, mengakibatkan darah mengalir dengan banyak di bahagian tersebut.

Dia kemudiannya menghimpit Cyborg ke tepi gelanggang dan cuba mengunci pergerakan lawannya itu, namun berjaya digagalkan oleh Cyborg.

Berbekalkan pengalaman selama 14 tahun sebagai petarung seni bela diri campuran (MMA) professional, ternyata Cyborg tidak mudah rebah.

Pusingan kedua pula menyaksikan Cyborg agak keletihan di mana serangan kakinya berjaya ditangkap oleh Spencer.

Namun, dengan kuderat yang ada, Cyborg berkaya menjatuhkan Spencer dan melakukan tumbukan ‘ground and pound’.

Spencer kemudiannya sekali lagi cuba mengunci lengan Cyborg, namun tidak berjaya.

Pada pusingan ketiga dan terakhir pula, kedua-dua petarung saling bertukar tumbukan dan tendangan.

Cyborg yang dilihat kembali bertenaga, melancarkan beberapa siri tumbukan padu hingga ke saat akhir pusingan.

Sesudah tamat perlawanan, pengadil mengisytiharkan kemenangan kepada Cyborg menerusi keputusan sebulat suara juri.

Bagi Spencer pula, komuniti MMA memberikannya satu penghormatan yang tinggi atas semangat dan kecekalan yang ditunjukkannya sepanjang pertarungan.

Walaupun masih baharu, Spencer mampu bertahan selama 15 minit di dalam Octagon berdepan Cyborg.

Dengan keputusan pertarungan ini, Cyborg kini memegang rekod MMA 21-2-(1 NC) manakala rekod Spencer pula menjadi 7-1.

Liverpool Dikabarkan Tertarik Datangkan Franck Ribery

LIVERPOOL – Kabar cukup mengejutkan datang dari Liverpool pada bursa transfer musim panas 2019 ini. The Reds –julukan Liverpool– yang tidak terlalu aktif melakukan belanja pemain diisukan tengah tertarik untuk mendatangkan eks penggawa Bayern Munich, Franck Ribery.

Ribery memang diketahui belum memiliki klub setelah memutuskan hengkang dari Bayern pada akhir musim kemarin. Pemain berpaspor Prancis itu juga belum memutuskan untuk pensiun seperti yang dilakukan rekannya, Arjen Robben.

Kendati begitu, kabar mengenai ketertarikan Liverpool untuk mendatangkan Ribery belum tentu sepenuhnya benar. Pasalnya, pelatih mereka, Jurgen Klopp belum lama ini mengatakan kalau timnya kemungkinan besar tidak akan mendatangkan nama besar pada musim panas ini. Klopp mengatakan kalau dirinya akan fokus untuk memanfaatkan para pemain muda yang saat ini dimiliki tim.

Man United’s Nemanja Matic opens up on his disappointing 2018/19

The 2018/19 campaign will be one that most Manchester United fans will want to forget.

Despite an upsurge in form when Ole Gunnar Solskjaer first took over, United still finished the season down in 6th place in the Premier League table.

As well as missing out on Champions League football for the forthcoming season, Man United had to watch as their two closest rivals dominated in the league and in Europe.

Manchester City won the domestic treble, while Liverpool clinched their 6th Champions League trophy.

The Red Devils also set an unwanted record, conceding their most-ever goals in a single Premier League season.

Matic on his poor form

While no player covered themselves in glory last season for United, Nemanja Matic recently opened up on his poor individual campaign.

The Serbian didn’t look at the level that he has previously performed at for both Chelsea and Man United.

When speaking about his season, Matic admitted that it hurt, and that he is sure the upcoming campaign will be better:

“Of course, it hurt. When I come home, I always look in the mirror and I want to see where I could do better, where I can improve. I wasn’t happy with the performances.

“There were some games that I played great, there were some games I didn’t perform the way I wanted. But this is football. It can’t always be at that high level and I am sure this season is going to be better.” As quoted by the Mirror.

Matic also drew attention to the fact that he is having a full pre-season with United this time around:

“I have started this pre-season with the team after three years without pre-season.

“I am sure I will perform in the way I’m used to.” As quoted by the Mirror.

The midfielder missed much of Man United’s pre-season in 2018, after being given an extended break following Word Cup duty with Serbia.
