How Danny Rose reacted to rumours Tottenham will sell him after Ajax

Danny Rose has brilliantly responded to rumours that Tottenham Hotspur will sell him.

The left-back, who has been at Spurs since 2007, has promised to leave with a bang by lifting the Champions League trophy this season

Following a long, tricky spell with injury, the 28-year-old is back to his best ahead of next month’s final.

Danny Rose has promised to bring the European Cup back to N17 in a potential final send-off after 12 years at the club.

Last summer, he looked destined to leave, but has since fought his way back into the line-up.

Rose now looks back to his best for the club and his desire in the competition has been key for Spurs.

Whether he leaves in the summer or not, he is ready to make Tottenham champions of Europe.

Rose admitted:

“I keep seeing my name that I’m being sold, so if that’s the case and it’s going to be my last game for Tottenham against Liverpool, I’m hoping to go out with a bang and lift a trophy.

“It’s a Champions League final so individual situations have to take a back seat and you have to put the club first.

“We are going to do that. We do realise we have a chance to make history.”
