Confidence in your teammate

Social media noticed a very interesting celebration from Eintracht Frankfurt’s Ante Rebic just before teammate Luka Jović scored against Chelsea.

The Bundesliga side travelled to Stamford Bridge on Thursday night with their dream of reaching the Europa League final still intact.

With Luka Jovic at the helm, Frankfurt have thoroughly impressed in Europe this season.

Adi Hütter’s side have already seen off both Inter Milan and Benfica in the knockout stage.

However, their biggest test came in the form of Maurizio Sarri’s Chelsea.

Though, just like they did in the earlier rounds, Frankfurt held their own in the first leg.

Playing at the Commerzbank-Arena, the Bundesliga side held Chelsea to a frustrating 1-1 draw.

Luka Jovic scored before Pedro equalised late in the first half.

Much to the surprise of many fans, it was much of the same in the second leg.

Luka Jovic – A man in form

That is because despite Ruben Loftus-Cheek scoring the opener in the 28th minute, star man Luka Jovic scored the all-important away goal to bring Frankfurt level at 2-2 on aggregate.

To say Jovic has been impressive this season would be a huge understatement.

Tonight’s goal was his 27th of the season and his 10th in the Europa League.

Not only is his confidence very high, but his teammate’s confidence in him is just as high.

As noticed on social media, Jovic’s teammate Ante Rebic celebrated the Serbian’s goal before he’d even touched the ball.

Just as Jovic is put through on goal, Rebic can be seen throwing his hands in the air celebrating.

As Rebic expects, Jovic puts the ball expertly passed Kepa Arrizabalaga.
