Bergamo, Itali: Diogo Jota menjaringkan hatrik ketika Liverpool membelasah Atalanta 5-0 untuk kemenangan ketiga berturut-turut dalam aksi Liga Juara-Juara Kumpulan D, awal pagi tadi.
Penyerang Portugal, Jota meledak dua kali pada babak pertama di Bergamo sebelum Mohamed Salah dan Sadio Mane melebarkan kedudukan pada awal babak kedua. Jota melengkapkan hatriknya pada minit ke-54.
Skuad Jurgen Klopp kini mempunyai sembilan mata dan lima mata di hadapan Atalanta dan Ajax yang menang 2-1 ke atas juara Denmark, Midtjylland.

Liverpool melawan Atalanta dalam laga ketiga Grup D Liga Champions 2020-2021 di Stadion Atleti Azzurri D’Italia, kandang Atalanta, Rabu (4/11/2020) dini hari WIB. Mane, Salah dan Jota dengan tiga golnya, berhasil membantu timnya berhasil menang dengan skor 5-0 atas tim tuan rumah.
Liverpool datang menantang Atalanta dengan kondisi krisis bek tengah. Mereka tak diperkuat Virgil van Dijk yang mengalammi cedera ligamen otot hingga harus absen sembilan bulan. Sedangkan Fabinho yang menggantikan Van Dijk jua mengalami cedera hamstring.
Namun, skuad Klopp tampil menekan sejak awal. Mereka berani bermain terbuka meski tak diperkuat bek andalan mereka.
Hasilnya, mereka menang dengan besar. Klopp percaya diri bahwa permaian trio serang mereka, sangat menakutkan hingga bisa mengalahkan tim manapun.
“Saya tidak ingin berbicara terlalu banyak tentang taktik. Pekerjaan yang dia lakukan di sini luar biasa. Malam ini melawan kami sulit, saya rasa tidak ada sistem yang bisa bertahan malam ini dari Sadio, Mo (Salah) dan Diogo (Jota), dengan cara mereka dan dukungan semua orang pemain,” tuturnya mengutip laman UEFA.
“Itu adalah penampilan yang kami butuhkan malam ini hanya karena lawan benar-benar kuat dan dapat menyebabkan masalah besar bagi Anda, dan anak asuh saya memainkan permainan yang luar biasa,” tambah Klopp.
Jalannya Pertandingan
Liverpool langsung melakukan tekanan di menit-menit awal meski berstatus sebagai tim tamu. Diogo Jota yang mendapat umpan dari Curtis Jones melakukan tembakan dari dalam kotak penalti, namun sepakan kaki kirinya berhasil diselamatkan penjaga gawang Atalanta, Marco Sportiello.
Terus ditekan, pertahanan La Dea (sang Dewi)—julukan Atalanta—akhirnya jebol. Jota yang mendapat umpan terobosan dari Alexander Arnold berhasil membawa timnya ungul pada menit 16. Pemain asal Portugal ini mencetak gol dengan cerdik. Dia mengangkat bola sehingga sulit ditepis kiper Atalanta.
Usaha Atalanta terus menekan berbuah terbalik. Liverpool kembali mencetak gol. Joseph Gomez yang melepaskan umpan lambung ke kotak penati berhasil diterima dengan baik oleh Jota, yang kemudian melepaskan tendangan dan merobek gawang Atalanta. Hasil 2-0 bertahan hingga jeda pertandingan.
Seperti babak pertama, Liverpool langsung menekan. Hasilnya, Salah mencetak gol saat laga babak kedua baru berjalan tiga menit. Dia mencetak gol setelah mendapat umpan matang dari Jones.
Belum juga bangkit, Atalanta harus kembali terpuruk. Sane menambah keunggulan tim tamu selang dua menit dari gol Salah. Pemain asal Senegal itu mencetak gol di menit ke-49 usai mendapatkan umpan manis dari Salah.
Tertinggal empat gol, Gasperini mencoba merubah strategi. Dia memasukkan Matteo Pessina menggantikan untuk menggantikan Luis Muriel.
Namun, lagi-lagi Liverpool mencetak gol kelima. Jota kembali mencatatkan namanya di papan skor usai mendapat umpan manis dari Mane setelah melepaskan tembakan dari area kotak penalti Atalanta.
Sang Dewi sepertinya tidak berada di pihak Atalanta dalam laga ini. Duvan Zapata yan mendapatkan umpan dari Gomez melakukan tembakan. Sayang, tembakanannya membentur tian gawang.

Real Madrid secured a much-needed Champions League victory on Tuesday night, overcoming Inter 3-2.
An error-ridden start to the contest saw chances arrive at both ends before the hosts were gifted the lead by former star Achraf Hakimi, as Karim Benzema latched onto the Moroccan’s woeful back-pass before coolly finishing.
Inter’s woes were doubled through an archetypal Sergio Ramos finish, but a majestic Nicolo Barella and Lautaro Martinez combination swiftly halved the deficit.
Ivan Perisic deservedly levelled for the visitors midway through the second period, before substitutes Vinicius Junior and Rodrygo combined to hand Real a 3-2 lead and, eventually, all three points.
Let’s get into some player ratings.
Thibaut Courtois (GK) – 6/10 – Saved well to deny Lautaro early but could do little to stop El Toro from getting on the scoresheet later on in the opening period. Swept up nicely but was somewhat exposed in possession.
Lucas Vazquez (RB) – 6/10 – Aggressive with his positioning and seems to have established a good understanding with Marco Asensio.
Raphael Varane (CB) – 7/10 – Looked back to his best tonight, with his confidence seemingly restored after some shaky performances of late.
Sergio Ramos (CB) – 8/10 – Brought up his 100th Real Madrid goal with a wonderful header. Defensively moved around by the crafty Lautaro, who proved a tricky assignment for the Spaniard. Covered wide areas well and produced some superb bits of defending in his own box.
Ferland Mendy (LB) – 7/10 – Some battle, this. With a pair of Apollo 11’s flying down Real’s left, it was Mendy who came out on top. Attacking influence was minimal but he proved mightily diligent in his defensive work. Tracked Hakimi admirably throughout, with impressive athleticism laid bare.
Casemiro (DM) – 6/10 – A real mixed night for the Brazilian, who produced moments of brilliance out of possession but proved distinctly errant on the ball.
Federico Valverde (CM) – 8/10 – Yet another impressive big-game display from the young Uruguayan. He looked to disrupt Inter in the first phase by pressing high and also proved effective at cutting out passing lanes in central areas. Booked after the break for a challenge on Barella.
Toni Kroos (CM) – 6/10 – There were examples of his simply gorgeous passing technique from the German, but his influence wasn’t huge overall.
Marco Asensio (RW) – 5/10 – Looked bright early as he looked to have established a dangerous dynamic with the advancing Vazquez. Influence waned massively before his substitution just after the hour.
Karim Benzema (ST) – 7/10 – Deft headed touch should’ve set up Valverde for the opener before he grabbed it himself; picking off a woeful Hakimi back-pass before rounding Handanovic and finishing. Wasn’t heavily involved but produced some superb examples of false-nine play.
Eden Hazard (LW) – 5/10 – Often took up positions deep in the left half-space as he sought to pick the ball up between the lines before driving at the Inter defence. Minimal impact overall, though.
Vinicius Junior – 7/10 – Cross from the left was perfect for Rodrygo to finish. Made a difference.
Rodrygo – 8/10 – Fantastic strike handed Real a much-needed victory. What more do you want?
Luka Modric – 7/10 – Produced real moments of class late on.
Samir Handanovic (GK) – 6/10 – Performed very well in possession tonight, as he so often does. Beaten by Benzema for the first but could do nothing to deny Ramos and Rodrygo.
Danilo D’Ambrosio (CB) – 6/10 – A quiet night for the Italian in all honesty. Wasn’t actively rotating down the right like he often does and was rarely tested defensively.
Stefan de Vrij (CB) – 7/10 – Lost track of Ramos for the Spaniard’s goal but was nonetheless impressive once more. Key in Inter’s impressive build-up play.
Alessandro Bastoni (CB) – 8/10 – God, this kid is a star. So composed in the first phase and was able to deliver punched line-breaking passes at a canter. Controlled aggression on display in his defensive work.
Achraf Hakimi (RWB) – 5/10 – Momentarily forgot he’d left Real in the summer as his under-hit back-pass directly led to Benzema’s opener. Proved an outlet for the visitors but was uncharacteristically inefficient in the final third.
Arturo Vidal (CM) – 6/10 – Combative and borderline crazy. Vidal was absolutely everywhere on Wednesday night…which wasn’t necessarily a good thing. The Chilean committed a frustrating number of fouls – earning a booking before the break – and was sloppy on occasion in possession.
Marcelo Brozovic (CM) – 7/10 – Showed off composure, bravery and press resistance tonight as he constantly looked to receive in the face of heavy Real pressure. Looked back at his all-encompassing best tonight.
Nicolo Barella (AM) – 8/10 – Flick to set up Lautaro was simply ingenious. Incredible. Contributed in all phases and was superb between the lines.
Ashley Young (LWB) – 8/10 – A fine outing for the Englishman. Stout one-v-one and was positionally immaculate throughout. Bright and dynamic with the ball.
Lautaro Martinez (ST) – 9/10 – His first goal in the Champions League this term was a good one, latching onto Barella’s genius with a first-time half-volley. Smart header also set up Perisic for the equaliser. Really stepped up in the absence of Romelu Lukaku.
Ivan Perisic (ST) – 7/10 – Struggled in this role against Parma but had a little more success tonight. Worked well with El Toro up top and combined with his strike partner to equalise with a tidy left-footed finish. Work out of possession can’t be overlooked either.
Alexis Sanchez – 5/10 – Free-kick hit straight into the wall was incredibly frustrating.

Madrid: David Silva menjaringkan gol pertamanya buat Real Sociedad untuk membantu pasukan itu kembali ke puncak La Liga selepas melakarkan kemenangan 4-1 ke atas Celta Vigo.
Silva mengetuai La Real di Balaidos untuk gol pertama sejak meninggalkan Manchester City pada musim panas lalu dan gol pertama dalam La Liga sejak meninggalkan Valencia 11 tahun lalu.
Mikel Oyarzabal turut meledakkan gol kelima musim ini dan meletakkannya sebagai penjaring terbanyak liga musim setakat ini.
Willian Jose kemudiannya meledakkan dua gol pada separuh masa kedua, ketika Aspas menyempurnakan sepakan penalti untuk gol pertama dan memberikan sedikit harapan buat Celta kembali mencabar.

ABU DHABI – Saat ini tengah marak pemain keturunan yang membela Timnas Indonesia U-19. Hal ini tentunya tak lepas dari kesempatan yang diberikan oleh pelatih Shin Tae-yong kepada para pemain keturunan tersebut untuk meramaikan persaingan guna menciptakan skuad yang tangguh.
Shin Tae-yong pasalnya tengah mempersiapkan agar Indonesia bisa tampil oke dalam gelaran Piala Dunia U-20 2021. Maka dari itu, ia menerima pemain mana pun yang sekiranya bisa membantu meningkatkan kualitas tim.
Di sisi lain, tampil di ajang sekelas Piala Dunia U-20 juga menjadi hal yang menggiurkan bagi para pemain. Maka dari itu, tak sedikit pemain keturunan yang menyatakan kesediannya untuk bergabung dengan skuad Garuda Muda.
Salah satu pemain keturunan yang secara terang-terangan menyatakan kesediannya untuk membela Timnas Indonesia adalah Dayen Gentenaar. Ia adalah seorang penjaga gawang yang saat ini membela klub Uni Emirat Arab (UEA), Al-Wahda.
Saat melakukan pembicaraan dengan Yussa Nugraha, yakni pemain Indonesia yang merumput di Liga Belanda, Dayen Gentenaar mengungkapkan keinginannya untuk membela Timnas Indonesia. Dayen bahkan mengaku bersedia untuk melakukan proses naturalisasi.
“Saya belum dapat undangan seleksi Timnas Indonesia U-20 tapi saya dengar kalau mereka mencari pemain-pemain untuk Piala Dunia U-20. Tapi, saya dengar itu dari mulut ke mulut. Dan juga untuk naturalisasi, saya ingin itu,” ujar Dayen di channel YouTube Yussa Nugraha.
Dayen sejatinya adalah anak dari mantan penjaga gawang Ajax Amsterdam dan Borussia Dortmund, Dennis Gentenaar. Namun, sebelum hengkang ke Dortmund pada 2005, Dennis selama 10 musim memperkuat NEC Nijmegen dan telah tampil sebanyak 181 kali.
Meski Dennis lama berkarier di Belanda dan Jerman, namun ia berasal dari Indonesia. Hal ini dikemukakan oleh Dayen. Maka dari itu, Dayen memiliki niatan untuk membela Timnas Indonesia.
“Ayah saya dari Indonesia. Dia dari Bandung. Saya sebenarnya ingin ke Indonesia, untuk lihat bagaimana di sana, dan untuk bermain sepakbola di sana. Karena Indonesia negara yang indah dan bangga dengan sepakbola,” tutur Dayen.
Kendati demikian, hingga saat ini Dayen belum mendapat panggilan dari Shin Tae-yong. Untuk posisi penjaga gawang sendiri, saat ini terdapat Adi Satryo, Risky Sudirman, serta Erlangga Setyo yang berada di skuad Timnas Indonesia U-19. Belum lagi Ernando Ari Sutaryadi yang sedang dalam masa pemulihan cedera.

Brendan Rodgers must have missed the announcement that his bubble had burst.
The dip that followed Leicester’s stunning win at the Etihad was supposed to have sent them tumbling back towards mid-table mediocrity, but Monday’s comprehensive 4-1 victory at Elland Road was their fourth win on the bounce in all competitions, and left them in second place in the Premier League.
Manchester City, Arsenal and Leeds are, on paper, three of the toughest away games the 2020/21 Premier League has to offer, yet Leicester have beaten them all in just over a month, scoring ten times in the process.
They might not be as good as they were when they were tipped to challenge Liverpool for the title this time a year ago, but on Monday’s evidence, they’re not a million miles from it.
They outsmarted Leeds at every turn, standing firm in front of the ball and letting their hosts, coached by the uncompromising Marcelo Bielsa, have it. Lining up with a 5-4-1, they camped in front of the ball, their midfield line often on the edge of their own third…yet still looked the more likely of the two sides to score throughout a comfortable first half.
They could do that because of the man leading their attacking line, and the player who is fast becoming Robin to his Batman.
Jamie Vardy and Harvey Barnes are developing an understanding that looks lethal. When Vardy ran onto Robin Koch’s brain fart of a back-pass and took it round Illan Meslier, there wasn’t a second thought in his mind about where the ball was going next; straight into the space Barnes was about to occupy for a simple opening goal.
It was a constant theme throughout the first 45 minutes, Vardy occupying the central defenders and Barnes, given license to roam from his role on the left of their midfield four, charging inside to support him. Tactically it was simple, but the duo were too decisive and incisive on the break for Leeds to handle.
The second was a slightly different story. As Leeds got their act together and chased the game, both of Leicester’s dynamic duo found themselves increasingly isolated. Barnes was withdrawn, as was the functional Dennis Praet, but it turns out it doesn’t hurt to have a bench with James Maddison and Cengiz Under on it.
They weathered the Leeds storm, and courtesy of further goals from Vardy and Youri Tielemans, they made sure of a comfortable victory that put them second in the Premier League table.
They were disappointed not to make the Champions League last term, but if Vardy, Barnes and the rest of the supporting cast can keep these kinds of performances coming, then in one of the strangest Premier League seasons in memory, you wouldn’t bet against them putting that right.
