Liga Perdana Inggeris: Manchester United terduduk dibelasah Everton 0-4

EVERTON berpesta gol di tempat sendiri selepas menundukkan Manchester United 4-0 dalam perlawanan Liga Perdana Inggeris yang berlangsung malam tadi.

Kekalahan itu menyaksikan skuad bimbingan Ole Gunnar Solskjaer kekal di tempat keenam liga.

Everton bermula garang dengan melancarkan asakan bertali arus ke gawang Manchester United, dengan David de Gea menjadi penghalang.

Bagaimanapun, ia tidak kekal lama apabila sepakan gunting Richarlison membuka jaringan pada minit ke-13

Gylfi Sigurdsson terus menambah Luka the Red Devils menerusi jaringan pada minit ke-28.

Harapan Manchester United untuk bangkit pada separuh masa kedua musnah selepas Lucas Digne dan Theo Walcott menambah jaringan pada minit ke-56 dan 64.

Striker Nigeria Siap Dinaturalisasi Menjadi WN Malaysia

Kebijakan menaturalisasi pesepak bola asing juga dilakukan oleh Malaysia. Kabarnya, dalam waktu dekat mereka akan meresmikan status kewarganegaraan Ijezie Michael.

Sang pemain lahir di Nigeria 31 tahun lalu. Dia sudah cukup lama berkarir di Liga Malaysia dengan memperkuat Betaria, SPA, MIFA, dan terakhir Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) FC.

Bersama UKM, Ijezie tampil cukup gemilang. Dia mampu mencetak 17 gol dari 19 penampilannya. Kondisi tersebut mempermudah jalan Ijezie untuk menjalani proses naturalisasi.

“Tapi untuk saat ini, saya hanya fokus pada sepak bola dan tidak ingin terlalu memikirkannya (naturalisasi). Saya juga ingin memperbaiki kelemahan menjadi lebih baik,” ungkapnya dikutip dari Berita Harian.

“Saya masih menunggu tetapi bisa dikatakan positif. Jika saya lulus, saya ingin bermain untuk Timnas Malaysia,” tambahnya.

Malaysia sendiri sebelumnya baru menaturalisasi pemain asal Gabon, Mamadou Sumareh. Dia berhasil mengukir rekor karena tercatat sebagai pemain naturalisasi pertama yang memperkuat Timnas Malaysia.

PSG Kontra Monaco, Satu Suara untuk Notre Dame

Paris Saint-Germain dan AS Monaco memiliki tujuan mulia jelang bentrokan keduanya pada pekan ke-33 Ligue 1 2018-2019, Senin (22/4) dini hari nanti. Kedua klub sudah menyiapkan tribut masing-masing sebagai simpati atas kebakaran Gereja Katedral Notre Dame beberapa hari lalu.

Les Parisiens berinisiatif untuk memberikan tiket gratis pertandingan kepada 500 petugas pemadam kebakaran yang tergabung dalam PAris Fire Brigade. Itu adalah ucapan terima kasih karena mereka secara heroik telah mempertaruhkan nyawanya untuk Notre-Dame. Kebetulan, momennya juga tepat. Yakni, PSG bisa juara asalkan menang atas Monaco.

“PSG bersama partner bisnis dan komunitas penggemar di Paris maupun di luar negeri akan berpartisipasi dalam serangkaian inisiatif seperti acara penggalangan dana. Nantinya, itu akan jadi bagian dari kampanye luar biasa untuk membangun kembali Notre-Dame di tahun-tahun berikutnya,” bunyi pernyataan resmi PSG.

Penggalangan dana yang dimaksud adalah dengan menjual jersey khusus dengan patch simbol Notre-Dame yang terletak di antara apparel Nike dan logo klub. PSG sudah mulai menjualnya ke pasaran sejak beberapa hari lalu.

Untuk Monaco, seperti dilansir dari situs resmi mereka, mulai menjualnya kemarin. Tapi, tim polesan Leonardo Jardim tidak hanya sekadar untuk kepentingan komersial. Meski, sama dengan PSG, semua hasil penjualan jersey khusus tersebut akan dialokasikan untuk Notre-Dame.

Ya, dini hari nanti, Radamel Falcao dkk akan menggunakan jersey tersebut melawan PSG. Namun, ada yang berbeda dari simbol Notre-Dame yang ada di jersey Monaco nanti. Sebab, akan ada simbol Sainte-Devote di samping simbol Notre-Dame sebagai bentuk dukungan mereka dan bukti bahwa rivalitas hanya berlaku di lapangan.

Man United embarrassed at Everton

Manchester United and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer had a nightmare day at the office on Sunday.

After being dominated by Barcelona earlier in the week, United were looking to bounce back vs Everton.

They also had the chance to move up to 4th place with a win over the Toffees.

However, the Red Devils were well and truly embarrassed by Marco Silva’s men.

The game finished 4-0 to Everton with goals coming from Richarlison, Gylfi Sigurdsson, Lucas Digne and Theo Walcott.

Solskjaer on United’s transfer plans

With United clearly in need of some investment, their fans may have been hoping for a big overhaul this summer.

However, speaking in a recent interview, Solskjaer stated that while United will sign players this summer, fans shouldn’t expect six signings in the upcoming window:

“There will be new players coming in over summer but I don’t think you can expect six.

“I don’t think any manager you ask would be in favour of that amount of change anyway. We want to rebuild but it is going to have to be gradual, over a few windows.

“We plan to be in the top four, we plan to be in the Champions League next season and we want players who can keep us in the Champions League and move us up the table.

“But we know there is not going to be a quick fix. We have to take it step by step.”As quoted by ESPN.

United have been linked with a lot of stars already this summer, including Jadon Sancho and Declan Rice.

Solskjaer is targeting some of the best emerging English talent in Jadon Sancho, Callum Hudson-Odoi, Declan Rice and Aaron Wan-Bissaka.

James Milner reveals Virgil Van Dijk influence on celebration vs Cardiff

Liverpool midfielder James Milner has this evening revealed the reason behind his walking stick celebration during the Reds’ victory over Cardiff City.

Jurgen Klopp’s Reds travelled to the Welsh capital a short time ago, for a crunch Premier League clash.

The matchup marked a crucial one at both ends of the English top-flight table, with Liverpool of course in the midst of one of the most tightly-contested title fights in recent history, and Cardiff battling to avoid relegation.

As such, there was an understandably-tense atmosphere around the Cardiff City stadium ahead of kick-off.

When all was said and done, though, there could only be one winner, with Liverpool having held their nerve yet again to eventually emerge victorious.

The Merseysiders took the lead 10 minutes into the second-half, when Gini Wijnaldum rifled Trent Alexander-Arnold’s low corner beyond the helpless Neil Etheridge.

Only two Premier League defenders this season have over 6 assists:

Andy Robertson – 9
Trent Alexander-Arnold – 8

And James Milner put the game to bed from the penalty spot 10 minutes from time, slotting home in characteristically-cool fashion after Sean Morrison had been adjudged to have felled Mohamed Salah in the Cardiff box.

‘That one was for Virg’

Milner’s game-clincher, meanwhile, saw the veteran English midfielder’s celebration quickly garner attention online.

After finding the net, Milner proceeded to burst towards Liverpool’s fans, before imitating an old man with a walking stick.

And the former Aston Villa and Manchester City man has since provided an insight into the reasoning behind his celebration, confirming that it was in response to persistent ribbing on the part of teammate Virgil van Dijk regarding his age:

Milner on his celebration: “That one was for Virg (Van Dijk) because he always gives me stick about being old.”

Silva gives injury update on Richarlison & Digne ahead of Crystal Palace

Crystal Palace vs Everton

Everton travel to Crystal Palace on Saturday as they look to continue pushing for a Europa League spot.

The Toffees currently occupy 7th place, above Watford on goal difference.

However, Watford have a game in hand on Everton, as do 10th place Wolves who are just one point behind Marco Silva’s side.

Everton also have to face Tottenham in one of their final league games of the season so picking up a win vs Palace is a must if they want to stand any chance of qualifying for Europa League.

Crystal Palace, on the other hand, are already safe from relegation and will have very little to play for vs Everton.

Digne & Richarlison updates

Everton’s last tie saw them face Manchester United on Sunday.

The Blues have been in great form recently, baring a 2-0 defeat to Championship bound Fulham last weekend.

They have also been in solid form against the top six clubs.

That form was once again on display vs United as Everton came away 4-0 winners.

Despite the superb result against Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side, Everton did suffer a few big blows on Sunday.

After opening the scoring Richarlison was subbed off in the 51st minute.

Then, after putting in a MOTM worthy display that included scoring from outside the box, Lucas Digne limped off in the 84th minute.

Marco Silva has since given an update on the duo.

While Silva doesn’t know the extent of Richarlison’s injury yet, Digne’s problem does seem to be quite minor.

Neil Warnock slams Mo Salah for diving after Cardiff 0-Liverpool 2

Liverpool and Cardiff went head-to-head on Sunday in a key clash at both ends of the table.

Cardiff started the day in 18th place and in desperate need of a win to continue their relegation battle.

A win for the Welsh side would have seen them go level on points with 17th place Brighton.

Liverpool, on the other hand, needed to win to return to the top of the table after Manchester City beat Tottenham on Saturday.

Georginio Wijnaldum put the Reds 1-0 up before James Milner made it 2-0 from the spot after Mohamed Salah was brought down.

Tottenham reveal Man United target Kieran Trippier’s price tag

Tottenham willing to part ways with Trippier

Tottenham have reportedly slapped a rather large price tag on their main right-back, Kieran Trippier.

According to the Express, Spurs would be willing to part ways with Trippier for a fee of around £40m.

Trippier joined Tottenham in 2015 from Burnley for a fee less than £5m and had proved to be somewhat of a bargain.

The 28-year-old was particularly impressive for England at the 2018 World Cup in Russia.

Unfortunately for Spurs fans, Trippier’s form didn’t carry over into the 2018/19 campaign.

The full-back has had several poor displays this season and is often criticised by Spurs fans.

As a result, they would probably bite your hand off to get £40m for him.

Valencia replacement?

The main club Trippier has been linked with recently is Manchester United.

This isn’t too surprising as United will be short a right-back come the summer.

Antonio Valencia’s deal runs out in July and United chose earlier this year not to renew it.

Ashley Young can also play right-back but he too is getting on in years and his recent displays have been pretty poor.

This would leave Diogo Dalot as United’s main right-back next season. While Dalot is a solid player he is only 19 years of age.

尼斯主席：我们可能会签下吉鲁，但他的工资太高了

据Telefoot消息，为得到更多出场时间，切尔西前锋吉鲁可能会在未来返回法国踢球。而尼斯主席加纳耶也表示有可能签下这名法国国脚。

自从切尔西在冬窗引进了伊瓜因之后，吉鲁仅为蓝军在联赛中出场6次。这名32岁的前锋渴望得到更多的出场机会，他为自己目前的处境感到失望。

近来有消息称吉鲁可能会返回法国踢球，目前也有几支法甲球队对他表达了兴趣，这其中就包括了尼斯，球队主席加纳耶表示球队可能会签下这名法国前锋，但他的高昂薪水可能会是一个阻碍。

在接受采访时，加纳耶透露：“吉鲁目前的合同即将到期，在他这个年龄，他的表现依然很出色。我们有可能会签下他。他的薪水？是的，他的工资确很高。”

由于切尔西受到转会禁令，萨里已告知俱乐部希望与吉鲁延长1年的合同。但吉鲁更希望获得更稳定的出场时间，因此他可能会在今夏寻求转会。
