Presiden Inter Yakin Bisa Cari Solusi Terbaik untuk Icardi

MILAN – Presiden Inter Milan, Steven Zhang, mengaku takkan mengubah pikiran tentang masa depan pemainnya, Mauro Icardi. Tetapi mereka akan mencoba mencari solusi terbaik untuk karier sang pemain berpaspor Argentina tersebut.

Saat ini mantan kapten Inter itu telah dibekukan dan menjalani latihan sendiri di tengah agenda tur pramusim. Sementara anggota skuad Inter lainnya berada di Asia bersama Antonio Conte untuk menjalani tur pramusim mereka.

Ada laporan yang mengatakan bahwa Icardi menolak tawaran dari Napoli dan klub lain karena dia yakin bisa mengubah pelatih anyar Inter yakni Conte. Tetapi Zhang memastikan takkan berubah pikiran, walaupun saat ini merka tengah kekurangan pemain depan.

Sead Kolasinac fights off knife-wielding attack on Mesut Ozil’s car

Incredible footage of Arsenal pair Sead Kolasinac and Mesut Ozil being attacked by a pair of thugs has emerged online this evening.

Arsenal, as a club, have had a rather hectic day.

On the back of their International Champions Cup commitments coming to an end in a defeat to Real Madrid, the Gunners confirmed their 2nd and 3rd signings of the summer.

After Gabriel Martinelli made the move to the Emirates at the beginning of the month, Dani Ceballos and William Saliba followed suit today.

Ceballos arrives on loan from Real Madrid, while Saliba has penned a long-term deal at the Emirates. The stopper, though, will spend next season back on loan with Saint-Etienne:

Kolasinac fights back

The busy day endured by Arsenal’s transfer team, however, pales in comparison with that of two of the club’s star men.

As outlined above, an incredible video featuring Gunners’ pair Mesut Ozil and Sead Kolasinac has been spreading across social media like wildfire tonight.

The footage showcases the former’s car being attacked by a pair of armed thieves.

In an act of staggering bravery, however, Kolasinac can be seen making his way out of the car, to fight off the thugs with his bare hands:

Ev Ting hopes for another crack at the ONE lightweight world title

KUALA LUMPUR: Ev ‘E.T.’ Ting is not going to rest until he achieves his dream of becoming the ONE Lightweight World Champion.

After succeeding in his mission against Daichi Abe at ONE: MASTERS OF DESTINY on 12 July, the Auckland-based athlete already has his sights set on another world-class athlete.

“Going 10-0 in Kuala Lumpur meant everything to me. I would choose this feeling any day over a greedy one million sitting in a digital corporate bank,” the Malaysian warrior admitted.

When asked who he wants to face in the Circle next, Ting replied, “Everyone has sights on Christian Lee, and I’m the ‘Ev’ in Everyone.”

Ting has always prospered in difficult times, and if anything, it brings out the very best in him.

Despite enduring two back-to-back defeats, with a fraction of the martial arts community questioning his ability, Ting pulled off another magnificent performance in Kuala Lumpur earlier this month.

In his bout with Abe, the Japanese athlete sent the Malaysian martial artist to the mat on several occasions in the opening round, but somehow, he brilliantly turned the match around en route to a rear-naked choke in the second round.

His determination to overcome any challenge in his mixed martial arts career was evident during that bout, but Ting revealed that was all part of his plan.

“I may have lost balance and made that moment look more dramatic than it was. ONE is all about taking the audience on a high-low ride of entertainment,” the 29-year-old athlete said.

“I am down but not out – keep underestimating my tummy.”

Ting last challenged for the ONE Lightweight World Title in April 2017. He was riding on a four-match winning streak before that match.

However, he could not find a way to finish Eduard ‘Landslide’ Folayang and eventually lost to the Filipino warrior by unanimous decision.

This time around he is certain he could mount a better challenge towards the pinnacle of the lightweight division.

“I’ve been working with some of the best coaches in the world – Hamish, David, and Mike help me improve my moves,” he said.

“I want to compete in the Circle again when the chance arrives.”

Klopp Konfirmasi Takkan Bawa Coutinho ke Liverpool, Kenapa?

NEW YORK – Pelatih Liverpool, Jurgen Klopp, mengonfirmasi timnya takkan membawa pulang Philippe Coutinho ke Anfield pada bursa transfer musim panas 2019. Dalam pandangan Klopp, Liverpool membutuhkan uang besar untuk mendatangkan gelandang asal Brasil itu dan saat ini, The Reds –julukan Liverpool– tidak berpikir untuk melakukan hal tersebut.

Masa depan Coutinho bersama klubnya saat ini, Barcelona, bisa dibilang abu-abu seiring kedatangan Antoine Griezmann. Gelandang 27 tahun itu dipercaya bakal gagal merebut satu posisi di starting XI Barcelona.

Arsenal starlet Xavier Amaechi set for permanent move to Germany

As per a report from Sky Sports News, Arsenal youngster Xavier Amaechi is on the verge of a move to an unnamed German club.

Amaechi, an 18-year-old winger, is widely-regarded as one of the most-promising prospects on the books of the Gunners.

The explosive wide-man is noted for his eye for goal, ability to use both feet and searing pace.

In fact, so quick is Amaechi off the mark, that many at Arsenal are of the opinion that the youngster could match Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang stride-for-stride.

Despite a metatarsal injury having restricted his time on the pitch this past season, the English youth international nevertheless managed to rack up 4 goals and 5 assists across 14 Premier League 2 outings in 2018/19.

As such, Amaechi’s talents have unsurprisingly resulted in the attacker attracting the interest of some of European football’s other heavyweights.

A report from James Benge of football.london back in March revealed that Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich had identified the Arsenal prodigy as an alternative to Chelsea’s Callum Hudson-Odoi, in the Bavarians’ hunt for fresh legs out wide

And, as per the aforementioned update emerging from the English media this evening, Amaechi’s move to Germany now appears imminent.

Though it remains unclear whether Bayern are the teen’s proposed destination, Sky Sports News have confirmed that Amaechi is close to joining a German club.

Ini kehidupan Chong Wei selepas sebulan bersara

KUALA LUMPUR: Tanpa kami sedari, sebulan sudah berlalu sejak bekas jaguh badminton negara, Datuk Lee Chong Wei mengumumkan persaraannya.

Bagaimana kehidupan Chong Wei sekarang, berbanding sebelum ini yang dipenuhi dengan latihan di gelanggang bagi membuat persiapan untuk pertandingan yang akan datang?

Lagenda badminton negara tersebut berkata beliau banyak meluangkan masa bersama isteri dan anak-anak mereka.

Dengan pelantikannya sebagai Ketua Kontinjen Malaysia (Chef-de-Mission, CDM) untuk Sukan Olimpik Tokyo 2020, beliau berkata dirinya akan semakin sibuk dalam masa terdekat.

“Pada bulan depan, saya akan hadiri mesyuarat di Jepun. Inilah jadual saya selepas bersara.

“Pada bulan September dan Oktober, saya akan mengadakan sesi ‘sparring’ buat anak muda dan membuat persediaan dalaman untuk Olimpik 2020,”  katanya kepada pemberita selepas Gala IPEC Global Legacy 2019 pada Selasa.

Chong Wei bersama ratu skuasy negara, Datuk Nicol Ann David menerima Anugerah Utama Perdana Legasi pada majlis tersebut.

Tambahnya, tugasnya sebagai CDM ke temasya empat tahun sekali itu memerlukannya menyesuaikan diri dengan peralihan daripada seorang atlet kepada ketua kontinjen negara dengan pantas.

“Saya bekerja dengan cara yang berbeza sekarang. Dulu tugas saya ialah sebagai seorang atlet, sekarang saya sudah menjadi pegawai.

“Saya juga perlu mengikuti berita mengenai semua sukan seperti terjun dan memanah, bukan sekadar berita mengenai badminton.

“Saya banyak belajar daripada pegawai lain superti Datuk Seri Mohamad Norza Zakaria (Presiden Majlis Olimpik Malaysia) untuk membuat peralihan daripada seorang ‘sportsman’,” katanya.

Sementara itu, pemenang tiga pingat perak Sukan Olimpik itu akui merindui sukan yang menjadi penemannya buat 19 tahun.

“Rindu turun ke gelanggang dan rindu pegang raket.

“Sekarang pegang raket dan hanya main bersama anak-anak saya,” katanya sambil bergurau.

Chong Wei, 37, mengumumkan persaraan daripada dunia badminton atas faktor kesihatan pada 13 Jun lalu.

Juventus vs Inter, Sarri Umumkan Posisi Bermain Cristiano Ronaldo

NANJING – Pelatih Juventus, Maurizio Sarri, mengumumkan posisi bermain yang bakal diperankan Cristiano Ronaldo saat timnya menghadapi Inter Milan di ajang International Champions Cup (ICC) 2019. Juru taktik 60 tahun itu mengatakan, Ronaldo bakal diperankan sebagai winger kiri dalam pola 4-3-3.

Mentas sebagai winger kiri merupakan yang kedua dijalani Ronaldo bersama Juventus asuhan Sarri. Sebelumnya, winger 34 tahun itu juga turun di posisi yang sama saat Bianconeri –julukan Juventus– menghadapi Tottenham Hotspur di Stadion National Singapura pada Minggu 21 Juli 2019 malam WIB.

Bermain selama 63 menit, Ronaldo mencetak satu gol. Ketika Ronaldo keluar untuk digantikan Matheus Pereira, Juventus sedang unggul 2-1. Sayangnya, skor tersebut tidak bertahan hingga akhir setelah Juventus tumbang 2-3 dari Tottenham.

Kemungkinan besar, Sarri puas dengan performa Ronaldo di laga kontra Tottenham, sehingga kembali memainkan pemain asal Portugal itu di posisi tersebut. Keputusan Sarri memainkan Ronaldo sebagai winger awalnya menjadi pertanyaan. Sebab sebelumnya, Sarri disebut-sebut akan menurunkan Ronaldo sebagai penyerang tengah.
